Talk to us first if you would rather
Plenty of women want to hear a voice before they book something like this. That is completely reasonable, and it is welcome here.
Call us, or send a note using the form below. You will hear back from the owner, usually within a day.
Where is Solstave?
Solstave is in Mesa, Arizona, in the East Valley. It is roughly thirty minutes from central Phoenix and close to Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and Scottsdale.
Because the property is also a private home, we share the exact address once your visit is confirmed. The map below shows the neighborhood so you can plan your drive. There is off-street parking on site.
Solstave is by appointment only. Every visit is scheduled individually so that no two guests overlap and nobody is rushed.
Frequently asked questions
What is Solstave?
Solstave is a soul-centered wellness retreat for women in Mesa, Arizona. Guests begin with a listening conversation and then move into personalized body care on a private property with gardens and mature trees.
What is soul companioning?
Soul companioning is a listening conversation that begins with the question "How is your heart feeling today?" You are asked questions that invite you to look inward, and you are given time and quiet to find your own answers.
Is soul companioning therapy or mental health treatment?
No. Soul companioning is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it does not replace care from a licensed mental health professional. We do not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are working with a therapist or a physician, please keep working with them.
Is Solstave religious?
No. Solstave is spiritual rather than religious. There is no doctrine, no scripture, and no expectation about what you believe or whether you believe anything.
What happens during my first visit?
You are welcomed, given something warm to drink, and walked slowly through the gardens before anything begins. Then you sit down for a soul check-in, and from there you move into body care shaped by that conversation.
Which experience should I book first?
Book Remember. It is our two hour introduction and it is designed specifically for a first visit. Most women start there and return for Return or Rise later.
What is included in Remember, Return, and Rise?
All three include a slow welcome, soul companioning, and personalized body care from licensed practitioners. They differ in length: two hours, three hours, and a full six hour day, with more time for rest, movement, and the property as the experience gets longer.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the experience and the body-care services included. Call or send a note and we will walk you through the options. There is no charge for that conversation.
Who provides massage and spa services?
All body-care services are provided by licensed practitioners. You are welcome to ask who will be working with you before you arrive.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear something comfortable you can walk and sit in. Everything you need is provided here. If you want to bring a journal, bring a journal.
Can I customize my body-care services?
Yes. That is the point of beginning with a conversation. What you receive is chosen after we understand what you are carrying, not booked from a menu in advance.
Are there health conditions that affect sauna, massage, or movement?
Yes, some conditions affect what is appropriate. We ask about your health before your visit, and your practitioner will confirm what is right for you. If you have a medical condition, check with your physician first. Nothing here is required, and anything can be left out.
Can I come if I am not a woman?
Solstave was built for women, and in this first season the experiences are offered to women. That is not a judgment about anyone else. It is about what it takes to make a room feel safe enough for this particular kind of conversation. We expect that to widen in time, and if this philosophy speaks to you, write to us anyway.
Can I book for a private group?
Yes, private groups are possible. The property holds a small group comfortably, and a group visit is shaped differently than a one-to-one visit. Send us a note with your group size and what you are hoping for, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Is the property accessible?
Partly, and we would rather tell you exactly what to expect than give you a vague reassurance. This is a home and a garden, which means natural ground, some uneven paths, and a few steps in places. Parking is off-street and close. Call before you book, describe what you need, and we will tell you plainly which parts of the property will work for you and which will not.
What is the cancellation policy?
Plans change, and life is exactly why most women end up here. Call or write as soon as you know, and we will reschedule you. If something happens at the last minute, tell us and we will work it out.
Can I talk with someone before booking?
Yes, and many women do. Call or send a note and you will speak with the owner, not a booking desk.
